Dance Moms Book Tag
Dance Moms is honestly one of favourite shows. So when I saw this tag, I knew I HAD to do it. This tag was created by the one and only randomfreckles1831.
MADDIE’S FACIALS—A Book That Gave You the Feels
Confess by Colleen Hoover was the first book that actually made me cry this year. It was my first Colleen Hoover book and I’m definitely going to check out some more!
CHLOE LEAVING—A Book Series You Were Sad to See End
Penryn and the End of Days Trilogy. I REALLY wanted more after the last book, they’re so good! I hope Susan Ee writes more books, she’s so talented!
MACKENZIE—A Cute Contemporary You Recommend
One of my favourite contemporary books I read this year was Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson! I loved the whole concept of the book and the main character was SO relatable.
KENDALL—A Beautiful Book Cover
One of my standalones is I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. This is one of the rare books that I actually bought and LOVED. Also, have you seen the cover???
JOJO—A Book Character You Were Wary of at First, But Then Grew to Love
When I started the Falling Kingdoms series, I was on the edge with Magnus’ character. But now, I love him so much. He’s gone through so much character development! I am eagerly awaiting Frozen Tides.
NIA—A Series That Has Writing That Improves in Each Book
I really feel like the writing in the Everneath trilogy got better as it progressed, whereas the plot did not. These books are very entertaining, though. And they have Cole….
ABBY LEE MILLER—A Book Character Everyone Loves But You Hate
I know I’ve only read the first book, but I still don’t like The Darkling from Shadow and Bone. I decided to mix it up and not say all the characters from Shatter Me.
MELISSA—A Book That is Talked About A Lot
Everyone talks about The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare and Will Herondale, and Tessa Gray, and Jem Carstairs, and I have no idea who they’re talking about because I failed My Summer TBR.
JILL—A Whiny Character
I honestly can’t think of a whiny character, but an annoying character is definitely America Singer from The Selection series. I haven’t read The Heir yet, but if Eadlyn is anything like her mother, than I don’t know if I’ll survive.
CHRISTI—A Drama Packed Book
When I think of drama packed, I think of the Vampire Academy series—specifically Frostbite. For some reason, I remember a lot of stuff going down in that one.
HOLLY—A Smart Book or Book Character
All of John Green’s books. I didn’t know what pretentious meant until I read The Fault in our Stars.
SECRET DUET—A Book That Sparked Controversy
Endgame: The Calling by James Frey and Nils Johnson-Shelton. There was SO much controversy surrounding this book before it was released. Along with the fact that James Frey was attached to it, the book’s synopsis sounded A LOT like The Hunger Games. I remember telling myself I wasn’t going to read this, but of course, I did. It wasn’t THAT much like The Hunger Games, but still didn’t enjoy it much.
